Out with the old and in with the new!
What is included in this service?
Removing the old flooring can be a messy job, and there’s also all of the old accessories such as underlay, grippers, and carpet tacks to get rid of.

Once they have been removed, the subfloor will need to be inspected to see if any work is required. Finally, the subfloor needs to be swept and vacuumed so it is free from dust and dirt, ready for the new flooring.
We will remove and dispose of your old flooring in a safe and sensible manner. All of this is included in the Uplift and Removal fee.
How long will it take?
This depends on the type of flooring you have and how it has been fitted.
Carpet is very quick to remove, so this will normally take place on the day of fitting. Vinyl flooring that is stuck down at the edges can be ripped up quite quickly.
Smooth flooring like luxury vinyl or laminate will need to be removed plank by plank so therefore this will take a bit longer. There are other variables such as if the room is empty, does any subfloor work need doing, or in the case of dryback luxury vinyl, how well it has been stuck down.
